| What is watch list? |
A Watch List is a group of titles of auctions your are interested in or
that you would like to remember.
You can add or delete auctions from your watch list.
The watch list can hold up to 5 auctions. To add new titles to your watch list, you must delete some
old titles first.
|
| What is reserve price? |
The reserve price is the lowest price a seller is willing to sell an item for. This
amount is generally higher than the starting price.
In order to win the auction, a bidder must meet or exceed the reserve price and have
the highest bid.
If a bidder's maximum bid meets or exceeds the reserve price, the bid will be automatically
raised to meet the reserve.
If no bidders meet the reserve price by the close of the auction, neither the seller nor the
high bidder are under any further obligation to complete the sale and no contact information
will be exchanged.
If an auction has a reserve price that has not yet been met, this information will
be listed in the "Item Information" section of the auction.
The seller usually specifies a reserve price if he/she is unsure of the real value
of the item and wants to reserve the right to not sell if the market value is less
than expected.
For example, a seller may set the reserve price on a cassette player LE 100 but actually
start the auction at LE 25. Any bid less than LE 100 will not win the auction.
Find the reserve price on an auction by asking the seller a question using the "Ask Seller
a Question" link in the "Options" section. Please remember that it is the seller's
decision to reveal his auction's reserve price.
