What is auction reserve price?
The reserve price is the lowest price a seller is willing to sell an item for. This amount is generally higher than the starting price.

The seller usually specifies a reserve price if he/she is unsure of the market value of the item and wants to reserve the right to not sell if the market value is less than expected.

In order to win the auction, a bidder must meet or exceed the reserve price (if exists) and have the highest bid.

If a bidder's maximum bid meets or exceeds the reserve price, the bid will be automatically raised to meet the reserve.

If no bidders meet the reserve price by the close of the auction, neither the seller nor the high bidder are under any further obligation to complete the sale and no contact information will be exchanged.

If an auction has a reserve price that has not yet been met, this information will be listed in the "Item Information" section of the auction.

Find the reserve price on an auction by asking the seller a question using the "Ask Seller a Question" link in the "Options" section. Please remember that it is the seller's decision to reveal his auction's reserve price.

Example:
A seller may set the reserve price on a cassette player LE 100 but actually start the auction at LE 25. Any bid less than LE 100 will not win the auction.

What after my auction is closed?
My auction closed with a winner, what should I do?
If you have a winner for your auction, you should do the following:
1. Send an email to the winner
The user name and email of the winner are sent to you by email. Use this information to send an email to the winner to arrange a meeting to compete the selling process and ask the winner to respond to your email.

2. Meet the winner

3. Send us a feedback to rate the winner
After the deal is complete (or if you have any problems), send a feedback to us to rate the winner.
In the case the winner does not follow through with his bid, please contact us and we will supply you with a reserve bidder (if applicable).

My auction closed without a winner, can I resubmit the same auction again?
Yes!, in fact we encourage you to resubmit your item, it's free. When resubmitting your item, consider making changes to your original item information. For example the starting or reserve price could be too high or the description is not enough.

You can relist your item using Quick Relisting or by editing and resubmitting it. To do so, go to:
     My eMazadat > eMazadat Central
and select the option you prefer.

Is there a way to quickly relist my closed auction?
This is what Quick Relisting is for. Quick Relisting is a convenient method for relisting you closed auctions with no effort. The Quick Relisting page shows your auctions that were closed with no winner and that for which the closing report was sent. For this reason, closed auctions are not immediatly available for relisting after closing but 1 day or more from the closing time.

To relist an auction:
1. Go to My eMazadat > Auction Manager > Quick Relisting
2. Select the new listing duration beside the title of the auction you want to relist.
3. Click the Relist button for the required auction.
The relisted auction starts at the same time you relist it and lasts for the selected duration.

How do I contact the winning bidder?
The information required to contact the winning bidder are sent to you by email.

What if the winning bidder refused to buy my item?
In this case you may offer the item to the reserve bidder if there was more than one bidder. The reserve bidder is the second highest bidder but is not obligated to purchase your item. The price offered to the reserve bidder is that he bidded for, not the closing price. You have to contact us to get the contact information of the reserve bidder. In this case we will give the bidder a negative rating.

Also in the case where the winner refuses to buy the item, please inform the support team to suspend his account if there's no accepted execuse to protect the the members. The suspended user will not be able to register again using the same email address.

What if my reserve is not met?
In this case no one wins the auction and you are not obligated to sell your item.
